Our sugar production is subject to strict quality control, ensuring that our products meet the highest safety and quality standards, which strengthens the confidence of our consumers.

We conduct FSSC 22000 certification audits at our sugar production units every year. This certification is a global standard that ensures quality and safety in food production. In addition, it complies with all the requirements of the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa).

We have different types of sugar in our portfolio, each with unique characteristics. Learn more about them.

Crystal
Sugar

Crystal sugar is obtained through a more sophisticated manufacturing process, resulting in whiter crystals.

Demerara
Sugar

Demerara sugar, still with the layer of honey covering the crystal, is generally destined for the domestic market.

VHP
Sugar

VHP (Very High Polarization) sugar is similar to demerara, but with less honey and moisture, and is widely sold on the foreign market.

Coruripe Sugar

We also sell directly to the end consumer with our own brand Coruripe Sugar, which stands out for delivering an excellent quality product.

We work with the lines crystal – ideal for everyday use, to sweeten your coffee or to create delicious recipes – and demerara – a less processed version that preserves its natural nutrients, with larger crystals and caramel tones.
Crystal sugar is sold in 1 kg and 5 kg packages and demerara sugar in 1 kg packages. Both versions are also available in 5 g sachets.
